We are a bottom-floor unit, meaning you may hear people above you (no units on either side). The closet in the second bedroom remains locked and inaccessible to guests. We avoid indoor pesticides for your family's safety—occasionally, sugar ants break in. Please do not leave food out. Beach gear may vary slightly depending on seasonal availability, but rest assured, the items we provided are top quality and likely from Costco. Our unit is one of the largest two-bedroom units in the building. The second room is long but narrow. If there are amenities we haven't listed that would be helpful for your stay, please reach out and ask. We have more amenities than we have space to list them. Other Details to Note

Central Lofts (460 Broadway St) is very walkable to downtown South Haven. We prefer to drive to the beach & Kids Corner, but it's about a 15-minute walk.

House Rules

During your stay: * Take care of provided items (games, books, etc.) * Return all items (including game pieces, beach chairs, etc) back to their original location before you check out. * If something is broken or lost, please alert us as soon as possible so we can replace it. *Clean up after yourself (and your children). *No events/parties are permitted. * No use of tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, etc. *No sleeping on the couch in the living room. Occupancy is a maximum of 6 guests, including infants. Yes, we have more beds than our guest maximum, which is to ensure that groups of different configurations of up to 6 are comfortable. Again, the living room couch is not meant for guests to sleep on. We leave a key FOB for you to enter the amenities areas (pool, gym, etc.) and our building. If it is lost, the replacement fee is $200. The HOA for the building has the following rules (that would apply to anyone hosting your stay at Central Lofts). BUILDING-WIDE POLICIES Read and follow all rules posted within the shared spaces. VIDEO MONITORING The shared spaces at Central Lofts are continuously monitored by security cameras. Camera footage will be reviewed in the event of any reported issue. QUIET HOURS Quiet hours for shared spaces at 500 Erie Street are from 11pm to 9am daily. SMOKE AND VAPE FREE ENVIRONMENT Smoking or vaping of any substance, including tobacco, nicotine, marijuana, and THC, is strictly forbidden indoors and on the outdoor pool deck. PROPPING DOORS OPEN All doors are to remain closed for security and energy conservation. STORAGE No personal items are to be stored in hallways. Bicycles can be stored on the outdoor bike racks. Owners @500 Erie (only) may store bikes in the bike room adjacent to the storage locker area. Lithium batteries are not allowed to be charged or stored in shared spaces in or outside our building. STORAGE LOCKER/BIKE ROOM Access to these areas is restricted to unit owners @500 Erie only. No renters or residents of 525 Superior/460 Broadway, may access these areas. PETS All pets, including service animals, must be leashed while out of your suite and on the grounds of Central Lofts. Mutt Mitts (waste bags) are supplied by Central Lofts for your convenience. PARKING Per established easements, the north parking lot is to be used by 500 Erie Street residents (this is not our unit). The south parking lot is shared by all Central Lofts residents (so this is where you should park). GARBAGE, CARDBOARD, & RECYCLING DISPOSAL The two dumpsters located in the north parking lot and the recycling bins located in the storage area are for use by 500 Erie Street residents. Residents of 460 Broadway Street and 525 Superior Street must use the south parking lot dumpsters for household garbage and recycling. FIREPIT Firewood is not supplied by the association. Those who use the fire pit must completely extinguish all fires such that no embers are likely to reignite after leaving. The fire pit screen should always be placed on the top of the fire pit. All areas near and around the fire pit must be free of all garbage before leaving. INDOOR POOL ENCLOSURE & OUTDOOR POOL PATIO Adult Supervision: Individuals under the age of eighteen must be supervised by an adult. Hot Tub: Please keep the hot tub covered when not in use. Glass: Glass containers are not allowed in the pool enclosure or patio. Grills: Please clean grill grates after use and ensure gas has been shut off. There are 60-minute timers on each grill that must be activated before the grills can be used. Timers will automatically shut off after 60 minutes. Food: Food is not allowed in the indoor pool/spa enclosure. Food is allowed on the outdoor pool patio. Furniture & Toys: Put all furniture back as you found it, and toys back in bins. Umbrellas: Collapse and secure after use. Electrical Outlets: The electric outlets in the pool area are not to be used to charge personal transportation devices like golf carts, e-bikes, or electric cars. Pets: Pets must be leashed and quiet while on the outdoor pool patio. Barking dogs will not be permitted. Per Michigan Admin, Code R. 325.2192, Swimming Pool Use, Rule 92., (11) Pet or other animal, except for a trained guide dog accompanying a person who has a disability, is not permitted in a swimming pool enclosure. A guide dog is not permitted in a pool. Cleaning: Pick up after yourselves, take all personal items and garbage with you, or dispose of garbage in the receptacles provided. Ensure that all food waste and packaging are bagged prior to being disposed of in the patio trash can to reduce odors and insects. Swimwear: Swimwear worn in Lake Michigan or any other waterway should be washed prior to wearing in the pool and hot tub to avoid contamination. Signage: Please observe and adhere to all directives posted in the indoor pool enclosure and outdoor pool patio areas. EXERCISE AREA Please turn off the television and fans, wipe off any equipment you have used, and clean up after yourself before leaving. Put all equipment back in its original location after use. No one under the age of eighteen is permitted in the exercise room. THEATER ROOMS Each theater is equipped to play DVDs or use streaming services. Instructions on the use of the equipment are posted outside each theater entrance. The usage of outside equipment is not permitted in the theaters, as doing so alters settings that make the theater usable by everyone. Any individual or group found to have used outside equipment in the theater will be charged a technology service fee starting at $100 in order for technicians to reset the system and DVD services. The theater rooms should be cleaned and free of all garbage before leaving. SHORT-TERM UNIT RENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SHARED SPACES • Owners who rent their unit must have a valid permit issued by the City of South Haven and must post their permit in a window as the City requires. • Central Lofts additionally requires owners to post their rental permit on a wall outside their unit door. Permits may not be posted on the unit door. • Owners who rent must post this Shared Spaces Policy document in their unit in conjunction with the City of South Haven’s Good Neighbor Guide. Owners must make renters aware of this Shared Spaces Policy document and the policies herein upon or prior to check-in. • Renters are forbidden from bringing pets other than service animals. Service animals must remain with the owner at all times during their stay. Per Michigan Admin, Code R. 325.2192, Swimming Pool Use, Rule 92., (11) Pet or other animal, except for a trained guide dog accompanying a person who has a disability, is not permitted in a swimming pool enclosure. A guide dog is not permitted in a pool. • Owners who rent are to provide a designated Rental FOB for their Renters use. Owners must notify Gardner Management which number is the designated Rental FOB. • Access to amenities is limited to only the registered lessees/renters during the rental period listed on the lease/rental agreement • It is the responsibility of unit owners to ensure their renters understand which address of Central Lofts they are staying in, as each address has unique differences with respect to garbage, parking, and other services and resources. Failing to adhere to these rules puts our ability to rent at risk. Given that, failing to follow the above rules is grounds for being asked to leave without a refund.

We love how close we are to restaurants, the seasonal farmers market, the library, etc. And in the winter, the farmers market area turns into an ice skating rink! The building is safe and secure, with plenty of parking.

As always, Central Lofts can’t miss and Cindy’s place is a well stocked, clean, and accessible condo. We love coming here with the kids and Cindy did a great job being flexible given we had the risk of being stuck due to a snowstorm. It was a great experience!

Cindy’s place was nice and had lots for kids to do. My nephew loved it! Everything was well labeled and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Cindy was very responsive and proactive. We would stay here again!

This home was perfect for our weekend getaway! Cozy and comfortable, it was perfect for 3 of us but could easily fit a larger family with all the space and beds. All the amentities you could think of as well and the cherry on top - Cindy surprised us with a bottle of sparking wine to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday. High recommend this beautiful listing and will definitely be back!

This is the perfect place to stay with little kids. Cindy created a space were our toddler had toys, books and games she could play with. Having a space where our toddler could sleep peacefully was wonderful. The indoor pool was a nice addition. It did once feel like an ice bath but the next use was warmed up. Being within walking distance from downtown and the beach is also a plus. We plan to stay again!

We had a great stay. The condo was family friendly and had great attention to detail. Clear instructions thought out the space. The pool was a very nice bonus. The trundles made for flexible sleeping arrangements, which was nice. The games and books were a big hit. All the beach supplies made it easy for us too. Space was very clean. Building was quiet. It was really nice to be able to walk downtown as well. Cindy checked in to make sure everything was going well and had clear instructions throughout. Would definitely stay again.

Find us

We walk into town the majority of the time because of how close we are. We choose to drive to the beach given it can be a hassle to lug all the beach stuff our family seems to need. Parking at the condo is plentiful. We’ve never had issues finding parking at the south side beach (blue stairs) or kids corner.
